delay between picture and sound
I'm using progDVB and I can hear the sound before I see the picture.
I'm running 3.2GHz with 1GB ram. Kworld is my PCI card. Any idea? |

In prog you might try Settings-Device Options & Check Audio over Filter.

Clicking on Settings->Device Options doesn't do nothing, no dialog, no error msg, nothing.
As far as the buffer I use memory only. any other ideas of why the pic and sound are not in sync? |

Sync Prob as well
P4 2.66ghz 1Gb ddr ram VP-1020a 128 mb 9200 video card ProgDVB 4.55: Tried different setting. Funny thing when you record the source even though it views out of sync, when you play back the file it is normal. Any Ideas. MyTheatre 3.21: finally got signal, but no video. Tried all the Graph settings (some with errors and others blank) No Luck. Any Ideas I would love to get this up and running, thanks |

PC works or anyone owning a Kworld-s100 card.
How you did get Mytheatre to recognize the card? I tried all kind of settings and all I get with 3.21 and 3.27 no BDA card found. I have same problem with Progdvb Video/Audio sync problem, but at least I get signal. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. |

I had the same problem. Better do some reading on filtergraphs. My experience was that the elecard mpeg 2 driver that is included with the progdvb causes the sync problems with the kworld and other software-based cards. You'll have to use graphedt.exe (should come with progdvb 4.56) and make a new filtergraph and choose another mpeg 2 decoder. DVD players such as Cyberlink, Intervideo, etc. install their own mpeg 2 driver. Using graphedt, you can make a new filtergraph to use one of these codecs - then you can choose it from the settings - directshow - default graphs - tv channels dropdown in progdvb. There are some helpful posts on the progdvb forums about filtergraphs and how they work. I spent numerous frustrating hours fooling around with this until I finally came up with something that worked.
good luck! |

Switching to MyTheatre was the only solution I could come up with for this one.

I get this same problem with My Theatre. I have the GraphEdit.exe but haven't figered out what I'm doing with it. Anyone have a filter file made up that fixes this delay problem. How about a file at is close? I need to experiment with this. Thanks in advance.
