Jtag Xm
Maybe someone can figure out how to directly wire up a jtag device to the tsop. The dish tsop is wired up to the dish jtag pads. Would it not be easier to solder little wires to the xm tsop and the jtag device than to remove and resolder the tsop.

i have wondered this myself. it would seem like a MUCH more effective way to carry out the method outlined in the pdf. also, is there any model other than that 1st gen sony that is able to be handled in this manner?... i'd like to know.
i'm also shocked that more people haven't cracked open their XM radios to share more info about them. |
