For AVR-X problems:
If you see a card revision like ROM101Rev108 but S000000000 for the cam ID, then the card is alive and communicating. You need to check the cabling and re-program with a fresh battery and try cycling the power on the receiver. If you don't see a revision like ROM101Rev108 at all, then the card is probably defective or you need to clean the contacts since there is no communication whatsoever.

The problem causing the reboots have been allegedly found as well as the chance of 019 errors should be a lot less with the next release or so the AVR-X man's email claims. He is planning to release the new software on Monday (lump of salt).
