Hey,
I just reprogrammed a 5800 for new Box Keys and IRD so it would be compatible with public fixes. I did a Vid Mod and reprogrammed with virgin firmware and zeroed out the Hd. Afterwards I let the hard drive marry and the reciever update. Now when I place a programmed Rom 102 in, I get Error 05 (Your smartcard does not currently have authorization to view or purchase this program. Please channel up or down). The weird thing is, when I place this Rom 102 in my other BEV recievers it works, and when I take a Rom 102 from one of my working Bev recievers and place it into this 5800, I get the same message. The free channels (ch 642) work with PVR function.
Any idea whats wrong? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Not sure about this but look at line 9040 of the v22 blocker if that is what you are using. I believe there is difference in the code that a 2700 4700 and 3100 will work put a 6000 will not.5800 may be the same issue.
