ROM103 is hacked

The dumper is on the files page. Expect full blown ROM103 hacks any minute now. THat means the 611 HDTV PVR and 211 HDTV with the new MPEG stuff is now programmable.

Sweet!!! So it took approximately 8 months ti fully hack Nagra 2. I thought this time would never arrive. They're are some pretty sharp people in this 'hobby'. Congrats and thanks to them all.

Doesn't the 322 have a onboard 103? What rom is on the 322 if not the 103?

mili when you refer to the new mpeg stuff do you mean mpeg 4 receivers? because i dont seem to see a 611 but a VIP622 receiver and a vip211 receiver is thsi what you meant? or different ones ? note: vip622 says DNASP 206 dsh783 what rom is this?????????? thanks.

I just got into mine 103rev305 Its from my 921. It tok me about 3 minutes to get into it. Do i need to wait till a new reader comes out or can i use n2edit7?

It is no joke, it started out as one but then the real deal was released. The 211 and 611 is ROM103 or the new unhacked ROM110 and yes I will have 322, 522 921 and hope soon some 211 and 611 modded for sale. This is a great news for us and a bad one for DishNet.

It doesn't seem cost effective to do a card swap when the last one only knocked us out for a few months. Also, going to the integrated/card-less irds forces Charlie to replace whole irds on the next swap; that is exponentially more expensive.

I know as soon as there is concrete info on 522's I'll have one going, cuz I love my 510, except for when the women changes channels when I am recording.

The problem with a public hack of the rom103 is there will be MANY high dollar receivers KILLED. I couldn't care less about losing a 322, but I do care about losing my 522,921 and 942's. I'm not trying to be a dick but for some reason freetver's don't seem to understand that coders actually like to have something of value for ourselves, but the gimme gimme gimme never stops it seems.

all dish has to do is activate the card slot and replace with nw cards not recievers.so out of 3 rom10x cards,3 rom10x cards are now hacked.as for killing t-sops,they will be j-taged and repaired just like every box produced b echostar.A new game is started.Hackers 3,dishnet none.HEHEHE,gotta love it.Free tv for at least 2 more years.
