We had to leave a legit BEV sub in the stream overnight before it started to pick up the missing channels. No bullshit. That has been confirmed by other BEV subscribers too. That means that the updates to Bev cards are NOT global. Otherwise, subbed BEV cards would upgrade within minutes (like a key change). The provider is actually sending down unique packets to each and every subbed card and upgrading them one by one for this ECM. Kind of like activating a new receiver. This is truly a first in countermeasures. It also means, whatever image they are writing to their subbed cards, each card image is unique to that card. It is probably a good idea for subscribers NOT to post their card images, even if they manage to unlock their cards!!!!!
It may take Dish a few days, a few weeks or even a few months before they do the same. But they will do the same thing. What may be stopping them from doing it right away is the ROM101 card or the logistics of individually upgrading 12 million subbed cards all at once. BEV only has to do 1.5 million.

......well there are options and it could be the subbed route, cloned card and/or a modern 'boot loader' card (Black Sunday) if possible.

Seems like the 'good Muther' (Charlie will follow, on this effort on account of 1/10th of the subscriber base B*v has, so less colateral damage) is the Beta Test.

Mili's warning a week ago was posted on several other sites and with the usual non-believers saying that he's full of sh*t! I have never purchased anything from the man, or had any sort of transaction.

One thing, he's a Survivor and no one could shut him down. Not a Scammer and his prices aren't the cheapest around <actually about 30% more> but he has a track record.

Sort of like Insurance, purchase something from him and there will be support else he would not be still in Business.

I got screwed on eB*y, purchased a 2700 with a 'yellow card' asked if it was a looped 102 and the answer came back as not tampered with. Won it @ $32 and the shipping was equal to that.......haven't received it yet but guess what..BET IT'S A 101!!

So there ya' go, my Greed got the better part of me and if a deal looks too good.........


PS haven't received it yet, but I'll bet the farm it's an ex-subbed Rom101!

Besides being an ice scraper, what other use is there for it? :-(

As for 101 cards, I don't think that it will make any difference to the provider when the kill off starts. All of his power is in the firmware updates, IRD specific and ROM revision specific.

You have very credible sources and I take your info seriously. What you say may be very well true but I am running the fix from rom10x on my rom102 card. I am using the public ird # and boxkeys on my card. I am currently able to watch PPV and Porn on BEV. Why would this be working if it's cam specific? You'd think they would blacklist the public info first.

hold on bud, it may not last! if they do cam specific commands we could be in big trouble. unless the commands are intercepted, decrypted and then used to make a program so we can send them to any cam we want. I don't even know if that is possible, just the first thing I thought of.

like I said, I beleive Mili's information and It does seem like the sky is falling however, the public info is working for now. I'm just curious. Bev has had this public info for months now. I would have thought they would have blacklisted this public info first. Soooo many people are using the public IRD #'s and it would look very good for bev to shut this public info down

It is mind bogling I know. Back in DTV days when BIN begging was rampant and people paid to have not blacklisted CAM ID/ZKT combos there was one BIN that was in the public domain for a year and was nto blacklisted. 90% of people were using it and they never touched until almost the end. Keep in mind that at any point a looping ECM is a possibility BUT if they do that there is a chance to hit legal subs. With what they are doing now their #1 target FTA, is gone. Plastic can wait. Read my new news forum post. I may be wrong, I don't claim I know it all I am just guessing there.
