Once this phase is complete we will have these working:

• Clones of a valid sub card and reciever

• ROM 102 and 103 cards WITHOUT blockers as if there is a blocker present CMD07 does not get processed = no picture, This will stay alive as long as we are able to glitch into the cards that have no blockers. With the current revs we can do it thanks to Penga, in the future they can close all them holes that allow us to get back into the card. Tiers will expire and drop off or they simply remap the tiers and since we can't glitch into the cards to update them we lose picture. If they decide to start hitting too wide PPV strings after we can't get back into the cards we will also lose PPV AND they will ECM the recievers too.

Phase 2

ROM102 and later card hacks that rely on TSOP modifications will be eliminated, The following will be dead and useless:

Generated DT08 and SK patched TSOP and ROM102 and later systems.

• Ex married sub card/receiver pairs which require no TSOP modifications WITHOUT blockers as if there is a blocker present CMD07 does not get processed = no picture, This will stay alive as long as we are able to glitch into the cards that have no blockers. Note that at no point from yesterday on will an FTA reciever work again UNLESS you can connect an interface that has a ROM102 or later in it. Even then it is a major IF and then why bother with an FTA receiver might as well get the real deal.

OK Now what should people do to prepare? If you MUST have TV I suggest you subscribe for either DTV or Dishnet both for which I offer a discounted program.
OR
Get a ROM102 or 103 card NOW as their prices will go up for sure.
Get an unlocker while you are at it and a JTAG programmer and a DishNet reciever that can be JTAG-ed.

There will be a time when having at least a minimum subscription will be a MUST. Adding channels is easier by far using yet to be developed add-on devices but I am certain a sub card will have to be present eventually.

So here we are at the point when you can scurry to other forums and call me an idiot and try to discredit what I had to say. Take note though that I am not saying that buy an AVR-X as it is the only thing that will work so you will have to be slamming me for trying to monger fear and sell unlockers and cards and subscriptions. PLEASE don't buy anything right now. Sit tight and when the shit hits the fan for DishNet (who knows when) panik and run around like headless chicken paying lots more as demand will go through the roof.

Ahm and don't forget that a looping ECM at ANY point is a possibility if they are relatively confident that they will not hit legit subs. If they do that expect some serious card prices as we know looped ROM cards tend to stay looped.
By the way to preempt those who will attack me saying why do I keep selling AVR-X cards if I know they will be uselelss. My response is this:

• I for one don't know when Dish will render them useless. Right now they are only $59 each. That is the cost of a special event. If you get at least ONE special event out of them you are at your money, Dish may not implement this for months (remember large sub base, card specific shit, lotsa time to implement plus there are subbed ROM101s to think about )

• Why don't you find yourself another dead horse to beat and ask those FTA delaers to pull their product from the market as they are dead man walking and they cost a lot more than $59?

• I am not spreading gospel here, Dish may never implement this ECM. In that case business as usual.

So spare me the grief of pointing out that your suggestion for me to stop selling anything will only prove you are a moron. And since all I can spread is bullshit and monger fear all the above predictions are not going to happen. In that case the AVR-X and all FTA will live forever so why stop selling them?

The sub price does not depend on me. If the people I work with raise their prices I will raise mine too. Right now you pay $30/month for all channels for Dish with me ($130 regular/month). Keep in mind that PPV, Porn and Special events are NOT possible with the sub but all HDTV and Chicago or Dallas network channels are. I am getting emails from scared people already asking what I suggest they buy. I'd like to reiterate. DON'T buy anything just yet. If you MUST spend money and want to prepare as much as possible for now and have FTA or any other hack running where you got no ROM102 or 103 cards I'd say get this:

1, Nexus unlocker
2, JTAG programer
3, A reciever that has a JTAG port or an ex-sub DP811 (HDTV) or DP311 wiht an interface card installed
4, A ROM102 card that is either open or openable and is unmarked
5, Private BLocker sub (not for the 311 or 811)

Now the above will only stay alive for Dish and BEV as long as we are able to glitch into cards that have the latest rev in them.

Ultimately you will need a subscription , even a minimum sub will do and a bootloader like device wich at this point DOES NOT EXIST that will open up additional channels.

THIS IS ALL A SPECULATION ABOVE . Again the sky is not falling for DishNet just yet although it is getting a bit overcast.


On another note, I am not trying to start a war or fuck with FTA dealers nor forums whose main revenue is advertisement from such dealers and sites. I am sorry for being the bearer of bad news but FTA is a dead man walking same way the Atmegas, ROM10s, AVR-X and any non real plastic ROM102 and later systems.

We can ONLY do Chicago or Dallas local channels. I am sorry I don't know why I said Denver before. The good news is if you got a new MPEG reciever you can get them in HDTV too.

WE CAN NOT do leased recievers (you bought cheap off ebay cause the person who sold it did not even own it) or recievers which are currently subscribed nor as someone tried to activate ROM3-ROM101 cards. If in doubt call dish with your reciever and card number, tell them you bought this in a flea market and would like to ask if you can activate it. If they say yes then we can too.

There is no spot for ZIP there are 3 fields to fill, CAM ID, RID, and DNASP. The receiver must have been paid for and no balance on the recievr nor the card. You can pick Dallas or Chicago.

This is the first time I've had anything since the first big hit from Direct TV and than Dish Network, only found out that people where doing the systems again a week or 2 ago.

I didn't even know for sure if the one I was getting was FTA at first but now I'm sure.

So far on mine most everything is working, I think there's a few channels that have been hit but overall I'm very happy with what the system has right now, as long as it stays that way

Still got all PPV and porn channels and I believe only 2 channels gone from the movie channels (HBO and Showtime type channles).
