Hello,
could someone help me...i read that if you apply the V28D blocker to bev bin it will overwrite data on card. How does one apply this blocker successfully on a BEV 102 Bin.

there is a seperate penga blocker for bev cards...dont use a dish blocker on a bev card

the blocker comes in 2 parts. if you use your own bin then just cut and copy the first half of the blocker from line $3080 to line $A6FF. so open nagra edit and read card image, clean codespace(this removes the info from the previous blocker), click tools, click apply patch and a window will pop up then copy thethe first half of the blocker and click ok(or apply patch) i cant remeber what the button says. then write to card, then read card and make sure it fails(this means the blocker is applied)

If you are using a private keyset(xsub or current subscription bin) then you need to put a semi colon before this line in the blocker.

$30D8:039A317400000000 so it looks like this
;$30D8:039A317400000000
that line is the cam info so if you use a private cam id then you have to semicolon that line so it omits it or else it will overwrite and you will get a 005 nag or black screen or card not authorized. I have seen them all.

V28D is the latest Bev blocker by penga

Can anyone tell me what values to change in the penga blocker with 3m to allow for my own private bks and ird#?

Thanks for the help. I got the damn thing to jtag. Using public keys for bv and using same card bin that was working before i allowed it to download the tsop update from the stream and went into a reboot loop. I recopied the firmware back to the reciever that i was using before but will not work with the bin i had been using. The bk's and ird# are public...still no go....005 nag. with the 5800 do i have to remove the sk from the tsop to use the penga blockers and 3m? If so how do i do that? Also I don't have the most current tsop but can't find one posted anywhere for DCKD or DCKA (23AB) for b3v. the version im using is E546.

Newest blocker for B3v is 28G at 245 use this because it brings thw 102 cams to rev 245 gets all ppv and pron......
its in the downloa section here... remember to change p/w to your own and ralso the blocker is in 2 parts be sure to use just what part you need... another words read it before applying it and also use at your own risk, its the lattest from Penga

I realize which blocker is the latest from penga for b3v. Question is....how to change his code in the NBC part of the patch to make it work for your own private keys? The other question is does anyone have new firmware for 5800 BEV DVR DCKD or DCKA (23AB) I have E546? I also can't get pengas new blocker to work at all with public info. only Hail to the Kings blocker with the modded penga 28D blocker...I have tried to take the 28D image clean codespace and apply the first part of the 28G blocker ... no go.. tried to take virgin bev 102 rev 240 and patch the entire blocker and 3m to it and still no go....only thing i can get to work is the public ird and bks using HTTK_pengamodded blocker. Any help would be appreciated.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you only use the first part of the blocker if you're using private keys and you apply both parts if you're using the public info.

I have tried to use tierworks for b3v 5.0 to create tiers with private bk and ird# then applying the first part of the blocker and doesn't work....is there more to it? Don't need to use the SK or DT08 do I? have tried that and couldn't get it to work either with or without using GenDT08 3.3. Must be some way to use what pengas got in his 3m's but just changing the bk's ird# and CAM in his code to my private... question is which part of the code needs to be changed for each item?

It sounds like you've done everything correctly.

Are you cleaning the codespace of your image before writing tiers and blocker?

Are you using Penga's latest blocker - ROM102-REV245for0801-V28G-BLOCKER?
