what is dto8 for rom programing

think of it like the boxkeys, if the DT08 on the receiver doesn't match the 0A on the card, you get no tv.

Hey Crazy1... any idea what to make of the AIO bins like the new dishgods one? It doesn't make any mention of DT08 and when you use DT08 on it's bin your card gets locked up tighter than my first girlfriend.

How do they manage to make a bin that doesn't need the DT08 stuff in the TSOP?

darkbob, those all to ones have to have dt08, or else they don't work, that is why you have to use certain receiver id and boxkeys and can't change cam id. otherwise the info that creates the dt08 will become invalid for your receiver if any of that changes (maybe you can change boxkeys, but I'm not sure) you shouldn't get locked out of your card after applying dt08, what blocker are you using?

sorry dardbob, I accidently erased your pm. Had I seen it was you I would of responded to it. I just can't help all the newbies that pm me. I'm glad we brought it to the forums anyway, that way everyone can learn.

I used the Dishgod AIO bin in the file area then followed the directions on bellexpress.vu. In those instructions it said to apply the dt08 to your bin which I did. Then applied the bin to my card and that's when I got locked out.

I've tried the default password, my own password and all 0's. Nothing gets me back in.

I have ordered an unlocker from Mili so I should be back in soon.
