Need help with creating Blocker for BEV Rom103 rev.3C1
Hi all,
Great site! I'm just getting into BEV & DN from back in the old hu card days. I'm an old fart just wanting to learn and have some fun testing. Well, I've managed (through a lot of reading) to do a rom dump and glitch into the embedded cam (which I removed) from my BEV 9200. I've saved the rom103 bin several times. I've mounted my BGA chip on a pcb card and I also activated the external cardslot, so I can use it in the future with rom103 plastic. I am not a coder, that I will admit. Is there a way or can someone help me build a blocker for my rom103? Also, can I use BEV-Tierworks to open all the tiers? I tried it out and it seemed to change and add the right information. Your help would be greatly appreciated ![]() |

Unfortunately it's for the Dish 942 and not the Bell 9200

Hey Gpaint...do you want BEV or DN. The 9200 is supposed to be able to be changed to the 942. I have a 942 and I'm looking to do basically what you just did (I was hoping I didn't need to remove the chip) for my receiver. Can you point me in the right direction to do some reading...is there a hard drive complication like on other PVR's or do you just watch TV if you can hack the rom chip?
