No you need linear LNB for true FTA Dish are KU

The Dish lnb is Ku band circular
For real FTA you need Ku band linear you can use a motorized dish with invacon lnb its is ku , linear and circular. |

Their are c band sats also. Do some poking around at satcodx.com and see what your going to try picking up then on the sat charts it shows the frequencies and encoding. Galaxy 4r 99 west carries alot in the ku band about 120 of the popular channels and some premium movie channels / etc.
