lnb question
pansat 2700a reciever , ( wanting to use it as a true fta ) looking at unversal lnb's on ebay , what is the difference between a .3 db , .5 db and a .7 db lnb , and which one might be more desirable ?
also with atempting to pick up dish or bev , will a regular dish lnb work with a pansat 2700 ? thanks guys ![]() |

Regular dishnet or dtv lnb will work with pansat however the multiswitches do not work well, Best to use lnb's without internal switches and use the disq sw included with pansat.
Your other q I think has to do with the sesitivity of the lnb the higher the better signal strength my thought. |

Stuff is usually rated in db gain but .3 and .7 do not seem alot different unless they are talking about signal loss. I'll see if someone has more input on this one.
