Is a Motor worth the headache ???
Hey all..... Merry belated christmas & a early happy, healthy and prosperous new year....
Is it worth installing a motor??? Right now I have 3 dishes( dish 500 pointed at 119 & 110, a single dish pointed at 61.5 & a single dish pointed at 91)... I know by installing a motorized dish you eliminate the clutter.... But,,, are there other satellites out there worth trying to catch??? I don't discriminated when it comes time for watching tv... I watch everything... And foreign programming w/ subtitles work for me also... I have a "DiSEqC 1.2 Motorized H-H Motor" and a 33" Samsonite dish just laying around... I believe it should be a Ku band lnb on the dish because I had it working either last year or the other year when Dave was working with FTa's.... I'm asking cause I want to know if I should take down the dishes I have up now and connect my motor to the lager dish and just run one dish.... Thanks in advance to all responders.... |

Don't forget that channels changes will be slow between satellites. If you already have 119, 110, 91, 61 you will not find much on FTA satellites, but installing a motor could be fun.
