Build a cell phone jammer

I would love to have one of these when I go to the movies. Who knows if it works or not. I love the internet.

Did you try a google for GSM-900 Mobile Jammer. I've seen where you can buy a production model of this, and have also seen the plans, for free of course, around the net.

My basic understanding about these devices is they simply emit so much RF interference that they overpower the cell signal. That means this device can be tracked when in use and probably violates a lot of laws that are enforced more rigorously than signal integrity issues.

why dont you just turn your phone off, why jam signals? satellites cannot locate a cell that is turned off or in certain office buildings(soon to change).......................................gcan

It is ileagal to jam a cell signal in any way shape or form,
blocking a signal is ok.
I looked it up awhile back.

Well for me, I want to block or jam those thoughtless bastards who yak while trying to turn their 18 wheeler , or stupid useless vehicles, around a corner with one hand...and oblivious of everything around them. Love to be able to kill all signals within 100 yards of me.
Want to talk, pull over axxholes !

You missed the point, the thought of the device was to stop those inconsiderate bastards that either don't turn them off or set it to vibrate in social situations (movie theatres, expensive restaurants etc.,).

I don't go to movies, but add in the overpriced popcorn and soft drinks and thats $30, last thing you need is to listen to some asshole a row over shouting into his cellphone. :-(

I should'a took a picture.

Last week I got into a very interesting conversation with an elderly gentleman who had a sign in his car window, one in front and one in back.

"HANG UP AND DRIVE"

Ya gott a love it.
