Hehehe, I thought 1 week later, we would have a tsop dump of some sort.. try using metal sheet cutters to cut out a section of that metal

How did you get the screw out from behind the display?
Did you unsolder the module from the motherboard?
If so, and you can still not get the can open, have you tried a Dremmel?
I have not had time to try this yet, and now find I will have to be out of town during most of December.
I can take my solder station with me, but need to know if I will need any other tools to get the can open.
