I used your dual chip flash for the DRD420 re. I built the buffered
JTAG from unwink and it worked fine on a single chip ird. Tried it on my dual chip ird (with the dual chip winked flash) and upon flashing the ird something went wrong. The address was set to 50000000 and the data automatically to 200000 instead of 400000. Not sure if this is the problem. Even upon trying to erase after programming get an error and have to go through the developpment panel mode boot from link to get back there. I tried to reflash my eeprom with the saved one and tried to reflash to the saved IRDmem file. With no success both times. I did remove the BFR jumper every time i tried to power up. Im using win 98 with JKeys 2.99 FreeForAll |

I was reading the forums and saw that some peeps were using 5V instead of 3.3V on the buffered JTAG. Is this a problem or nothing to be concerned about.

teknicz12... I did exactly what 001438 told me in another post I guess... Let me think.hmmm
-I used the unwinked flash -Used JKEYS 2.01 -Followed the directions on mili -immediately after putting in boot from link mode power down and up again and then save the flashes and do word write etc. Should take the flash and power up. For more in depth information ask 001438 he is really good and full of info. Actually all the guys at mili are always willing to help out. Free |
