How is slingers server?

I was thinking of a slinger but the thing that gets me is a nfusion or kbox is $170, and gets both providers, then a slinger is $199 and only gets one. Now my question is how is slingers server, is there freezing, downtime, do they get hd on both?

Well my friend,
there's no comparison bet nfusion/kbox to the slinger as both of those dont get any hd channels. slinger is very stable, and getting better each week aas the get all the bugs out.

So there you go

Slinger gets both providers. How did you decide that it gets only one?

Well in all fairness, to get HD channels with the Slinger IKS service you need a Slinger and High Def B3v or D*** receiver $200 + $350 = $ 550 from this site. If you want both B3v and D***, add another $350 for a second HD receiver, so $900. You will have to pull the Slinger card out of one receiver and insert into the other to switch between B3v and D***. To get B3v and D*** in HD with a FTA receiver you need a HD receiver and 8psk module $400.

HD channel lists are available for both Slinger and FTA's, but double check their accuracy on the forums, as they may be out of date.

As far as getting a fair opinion on the reliability of the IKS service, you have to read more than one forum. A forum that supports/sells Slingers will tell you how great the Slinger service is and how crappy FTAs are. And if you go to an FTA forum, the opposite is true. However you can find people who have posted that they are up with virtually no freezing using both Slingers and FTA boxes.

In all fairness the cost of an HD FTA is what? That is of course if the FTA (brand) even offers an HD box.

As far as getting a fair opinion of an FTA box on a Slinger site that will not happen as they (FTA) are not discussed. I have never said "how great" the Slinger is as that is opinion and a subjective one at that.

This is not an FTA site.

If you have a compatible modem buy the slinger, If not you really have to decide and add up the cost of everything to do it right.
Mili offers free setup.

Slinger works with every router I have had contact with so far regardless the "list" of approved routers. I don't see how free setup can be viewed as difficult or a lot of work.

if you are looking for a quick reliable solution, invest into a sub. It may be the better $360 or $550 or $900 you spent.
IKS isn't a card hack. instead of shit working or not working its spotty... what works now may not in 2 hours time, but could in 2hr 20 min time.
