Just wondering????
Which card is the easiest to hack Dave or Dish? I have some Dish cards and receivers but have never tried doing anything with them. I have Mili's AIO; what else would I need? Bored..........

Thanks, Mark, I will just stay with DirectTV. A friend of mine got a letter today for buying the emulator board about year ago. Do you know of anyone whose gotten "The Letter"? If so, what did they do?

Throw that puppy right in the trash! Any type of response is an admission of guilt in thier eyes.... They will take you to court and rape your pocketbook.... Just a scare tactic....

They're sending out a bunch of old stuff.... If this is truly an AI script, it's learning.... But then, if it is, why do we need to wait for a fix?

3m fix
Well, that's what I was thinking, too..maybe it takes a little time for the AI to learn the hash routine, so we freeze for awhile, then stop?? Mine's stopped now, one hour after starting....

The Letter
Honestly, its not me who got the letter. A friend of mine who ordered a programmer and emu board last spring got the letter. The letter didn't come certified. It stated that they wanted the illegal equipment, any modified card; a statement saying he wouldn't steal DTV anymore; and a monetary sum for him stealing satellite tv from the time he received the equipment. If he doesn't contact one of their investigators by April 1; they will press charges and could fine him from $10,000 to $100,000. Is this the letter most people are getting or do you think someone might be playing a joke on him? The letter looked legit; but who knows. Would you ignore it?

The letter
Still, no matter what, he is in a lose-lose situation. If he calls, he admits guilt, which just eliminated the need for a court appearance, and they will rape his ass anyways. The safe thing here to do is to gather all his equiptment up and store it somewhere else until it blows over. If they try and press charges, they have no proof other than the fact he bought it. So what, "I got it before I knew the real deal, once I found out it was wrong, I trashed it. I haven't had that thing for over a year." I have read stories that DTV is going after the end user now, so who knows, maybe he is one of the people Dave has a record for. More the reason why you need to buy anything from a safe place and in a safe, untraceable manner.
Tell him to consult a lawyer, see what a lwayer has to say. Hell, consult two of them. The consultation is usually free and the lawyer is bound by code of ethics to keep it to himself.

Here's what I'd do
I'd hop a jet for Nassau, Bahamas and look up Mili
Then you can use that letter for toilet paper...

I think we should all do that and have one hell of a party at Mili's pad.
