Ok, one question here. You said that you tried putting the virgon bin back on it and run actication. My question is this. When you saved the bin originally, did you unmarry teh bin from it's originall IRD? It sounds like the eeprom is still married to the original IRD. Open your bin in EHU and look to see if the Bin is still showing an IRD number or if it says 00000000. If it shows a number tehn you just need to use the Eeprom drop down menu and select "clear IRD". Save that as your new bin and you should be ok. Just a thought, let me know what you find out.

IVAC ususally means the card is looped or the bin has "garbage" on it. DO you subscribe to Mili's bin support. If so, try one of his and see what happens. The IRD should do just fine. I have one of those in my collection and it does fine. Try doing this: go to Mili's How-To pages and look for teh IRD rebooting instructions. Fing your modle, it is a 2nd gen. and reboot your IRD.
Maybe that will get you going again.

I have these IRDs.... They really aren't bad.... They do work well with HU cards....
If you're getting IVAC no matter what you try, I'd say junk it.... I have four of them sitting here right now collecting dust.... They DO work.... If you might be interested in one cheap, e-mail me.... Mark |
